Lavender has been grown here for the last 20 years as it loves the freedraining limestone soils giving the highest quality essential oils. We now have over 35 different varieties of lavender covering more than 70 acres of the farm. Every year at the height of summer the lavender gives a stunning display of colour.

We look forward to welcoming our visitors back this summer from Wednesday 14th June to Sunday 6th August 2024. Bring a picnic, walk through the lavender fields and enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. Visit the Distillery to see where the lavender oil is extracted so that it can be used in our range of products. We also have Wildflower Meadows, the Woodland Trail and Lavender Cabin where you can purchase a momento of your visit.

Our Family Farm

We have farmed land around Snowshill for the last 60 years growing a range of crops. Lavender was first planted in 1999. From just a few hundred plants put in by hand, we now have over 70 acres of lavender, some 350,000 plants and 90 miles of rows.

At almost 1000 feet above sea level our climate is well suited to lavender growing.

Not just lavender, we also grow wheat, barley and other crops which also suit our soils.
