Thank you to everyone who has visited us this season. The lavender field is now closed to the public until June 2025. You can still order our products here on the website

If you visited us in the summer and enjoyed your day then please vote for us for the North Cotswolds Awards. Voting is open until 27th October. Thank you, we would really appreciate your support.

Lavender has been grown here for the last 20 years as it loves the freedraining limestone soils giving the highest quality essential oils. We now have over 35 different varieties of lavender covering approximately 45 acres of the farm. The acreage of lavender has reduced slightly due to plants coming to the end of their productivity and fields needing a break period before they can be replanted. Every year at the height of summer the lavender gives a stunning display of colour.

We look forward to welcoming our visitors back in 2025, when you will be able to bring a picnic, walk through the lavender fields and enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. July is the best time to see the fields in full bloom. Visit the Distillery to see where the lavender oil is extracted so that it can be used in our range of products. We also have Wildflower Meadows, the Woodland Trail and Lavender Cabin where you can purchase a momento of your visit.

Our Family Farm

We have farmed land around Snowshill for the last 60 years growing a range of crops. Lavender was first planted in 1999. From just a few hundred plants put in by hand, we now have 45 acres of lavender, some 250,000 plants and 60 miles of rows.

At almost 1000 feet above sea level our climate is well suited to lavender growing.

Not just lavender, we also grow wheat, barley and other crops which also suit our soils.
